Cheese Dip (Chili Con Queso)
Description:
Ingredients:
1 lb. Velveeta Cheese
1/2 cup Salsa (mild, medium or hot)
1/8 cup milk.
2 ounces chopped green chilies (optional)
2 ounces diced pimientos, drained (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Directions:
Place ingredients in saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring frequently until all melted together.
Or microwave as above in bowl on low power.
Check and stir frequently until melted to desired consistency.
Can also use Cheddar, Monterrey Jack and even American cheese in place of Velveeta.
